We didn’t plan on eating out, but when we got to our campground we were bushed. This place was a huge surprise. We expected typical diner food - you know, the ones that say home cooked eating blah blah and the hash is out of can, and the cheapest toast is thrown on your plate, meat is some questionable slice of processed something or other . . . this was not that. We’ve eaten a lot of pancakes, these were really up there on the list of best pancakes, my husband even said that they were the best. Fluffy, fully cooked, not too sweet, not too heavy, just perfect. The hash was lovely, real corned beef shreds, not over run by potato, and poached eggs on top. They were a lot over for me, but it was great anyway! Husband got the steak and eggs, no diner steak um or Salisbury steak here! That was a juicy NY strip on his plate, and done perfectly. Service was friendly and fast, couldn’t complain about a thing. Very unassuming from outside, this was a happy accidental find!!!
One of the best Belgian waffles I have ever had. Great flavor to the food and the freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing and great staff. Food came out quickly once we ordered. When we return I will try the lunch menu.
Have been to the Rove several times now, and every time has been a total hit with my 3 year old son and I. The young men working, Ethan and Sebastien, have been fabulous every time we go and super friendly with my young son. They whip up a serious iced latte too !! I’ve tried many menu items from the eggs benny, sausage and eggs breakfast, pancakes, omelettes, and more and the quality farm fresh ingredients really show through. Diner is decorated very nicely and kept neat and tidy. Will definitely be returning again and again !
This is a lovely place to have a meal! The staff are very friendly and welcoming! The food options are wonderful. The place has great ambiance. I definitely highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area!
Visiting Vermont from Florida, made a detour through here on our way to Canada just to check this place out. Totally worth it! So tasty the pancakes were lightly sweet with crispy edges, and whatever they season their country potatoes with they are so good, best breakfast potatoes I have ever had! Vanilla latte was not only beautiful but tasty and not overly sweet. Atmosphere was good a little small but everyone was so nice.
I eat a Rove once a week. My favorite item is the Irish eggs Benedict. Last week they were out not a big deal I ordered the Bea's Benedict also excellent. This week when I came to eat today my usual server said we have the corned beef hash back do you want your usual with your coffee? I really need to learn his name. The service by everyone there is above and beyond. I 100% Recommend Rove!
Best breakfast around. I even had a fancy frothy display on my hot chocolate. I only have 4 stars for service because several other people got seated after us and had their orders taken before us. I actually had to flag down a server to let him know we hadn't ordered yet.
Came up for a wedding and needed a legit breakfast spot. As I drove by, I didn’t just see this place—I smelled it! The irresistible aroma practically dragged me out of the car. The staff was super friendly, and I swear I was seated in less than 90 seconds. The food? Pure comfort on a plate, like breakfast at Grandma’s house. If you're craving something delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced, this is the place to be!
